Israel is enduring one of the most heartbreaking and challenging times in its 75-year history. The murder of more than 1000 innocent children, women, and men – of all different ages, nationalities, and pollical views. The murderers did not care about the age, gender, race, or sexual orientation of the victims. Hundreds were kidnapped. The victims were raped, tortured, and their bodies desecrated and mutilated. Hundreds of thousands of men and women were called up to defend Israel to ensure the survival of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Certainly the tourism industry in Israel has been halted, and small businesses have been immediately impacted. My friend Isaac Levy employs over 100 people, all of whom have families. Isaac dedicated himself to support and hire immigrants to Israel, employing hundreds of immigrants from Ethiopia, European countries, and from all other places in the world. Isaac trains and hires his employees, who are also family. In fact, just last year, Ben Ma’ada (one of Isaac’s employees) was murdered in the terrorist attack in Jerusalem, and he donated the funds to ensure that Ben’s family could continue to survive and his children could attend college. NOW, it is time to help Isaac provide for his employees to continue to survive and pay for their basic daily necessities.
